DWailea and SurroundingsC
To the south of Wailea lies the quiet residential community of Makena, and to the north, the bustling beach town of Kihei (pronounced “Key-hey”). Here are a few of the area highlights:
Wailea & Makena Beaches
Among the most pristine on the island, some of our favorite beaches are: Wailea Beach (calm, clear and fun for people watching), Ulua Beach (popular spot for diving and snorkeling), Big Beach/Oneloa (a beautiful, often uncrowded stretch of white sand; surf picks up here in the summer and local kids come to launch aerials off their skimboards).
